Pro Tech Assist Ltd is an independant engineering consultancy run by Bob Walker BSc CEng MICE, a chartered engineer with over 30 years experience of dealing with Insurance related building claims.

We work directly on behalf of Insurers, Loss Adjusters and private clients to provide specialist investigation and repair services.

We can offer advice and support with a range of services tailored to your exact requirements and for private clients, can liaise directly with Loss Adjusters and Insurers on your behalf.

Our aim is to provide all customers with sound Professional Technical Assistance at all times.

Services are provided across much of the central south coast and up to south London from our base in Fareham Hampshire.

Subsidence Services

With over 30 years of dealing with subsidence claims in the insurance sector, we can assist in diagnosis, investigation and repair for both domestic homes and commercial buildings. We can taylor our input to your specific requirements, from an initial report through to site investigations, mitigation and building repair.

Building Defects

Investigation of Building defects can be difficult. However, with our expert involvement we can report on cause and advise the next steps. Our service ranges from a full report through to repair to resolve the issue.

Fire/ Flood Damage

Damage due to fire and flood can be traumatic to say the least. For private clients, we can help alleviate the stress by offering full advice on what is likely to happen and timescales. If required, we can also liaise with your Insurers Loss Adjusters through to completeion of the building repairs.

For Insurer clients we can work direct or with the Loss Adjuster and are able to project manage the whole reinstetment process.

Project Management

Following damage due to subsidence, building defect or fire /flood we can specify full repairs and arrange for local contractors to carry out the works.
